Jewell May

Jewell (Jones) May, 91, of Delight died Monday, April 27, at her home.

Mrs. May was born December 3, 1906, at Parquet, the daughter of the late William Henry and Mary Margarette Kellett Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of the Delight Church of Christ.

Survivors include two sons, James May of Delight and Billy May of Wyandotte, Mich.; two daughters, Lucille Harris of Prescott and Frances Suitor of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a number of nephews and nieces and a host of friends.

Funeral services were Thursday, April 30, at Delight Church of Christ with Julian Reynolds and Wallace Alexander officiating. Burial was in Delight Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home of Murfreesboro.
