Nubbin HillBarbara CorneliusPublished Wednesday, October 20, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune Davey Jones, who had surgery some time back, is doing fine and back to work. Emma Hardy spent Saturday night with her grandmother, Mrs. Buchanan, who lives in Prescott. Missionary Grove Baptist Church was honored to Baptize Pauline Blevins' granddaughter. Don Collins made a long trip to Alberta, Canada, to do some moose hunting. He returned home Sunday afternoon, bringing with him a big moose. Doris Burke had a mild heart attack Saturday night and was taken to St. Michael's Hospital, where she is in ICU. My mother, Maxine Glass, spent Friday night with us. We sure did enjoy her homemade biscuits for breakfast. Aaron Morton spent the weekend at McCaskill to do some hunting with his dad, Mike Morton. Sunday afternoon Donna Tullis, Jack and Jimmie Cornelius grilled hamburgers for all the ones who had birthdays in October. Those celebrating were Neil Ridling, John Cornelius, Aaron Morton, Sue Cornelius, Marcia Joe Ridling and myself. Karen Cobb had lost her dog this past week. She wants to let everyone know that Alyssa Haynie called to let her know that the dog was at her house. Kathy Lester from Russellville was visiting over the weekend after their class 1969 reunion. Mrs. Nellie Rae Gordon was also at the class reunion; George Cornelius visited with her. Ronnie Collins and son, Jeremy, from Clarksville visited with his mother, Ruby Fontaine, last weekend.
