Paul and Robin Ridgell spent last weekend visiting his mother, Doris Ridgell, his sister and her husband, Boletta and Terry Crabtree, of Fort Worth, Texas.

We are sorry Herbie Ridgell had an accident and fell and broke his wrist. Herbie is having trouble with diabetes.

David and Derinda Hartfield visited Syble Brown recently.

Bennie Walthall visited Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Ursery of Camden Saturday. In route home he visited a while with Willie and me. We appreciate his visits.

This week's news:

The death angel claimed our sister-in-law, Doris Ridgell' Thursday, October 14. She was making her home in Bedford, Texas, but was brought back for burial Sunday in Piney Grove Cemetery. Our hearts grieve for this family.

We extend our sympathy to the loved ones of Thomas White. He died Thursday and was buried in Liberty Cemetery Saturday.

Joel and Juanita Ridgell of Cumby, Texas, T.D. and Delores Thomas of New Braunfels, Texas, Billy Ray and Joy Shaver of Hamburg, Lynn and Judy Mayes of Boonesville, Willie Hugh and Carolyn Hooks of Hot Springs, Steve and Tammy Scoggins of Malvern all attended the funeral for Doris Ridgell and had supper with Willie and me Sunday night.

Elsie Elmore returned home Friday after spending a month with her son, Malvern Elmore, and his family of Winnsboro, Texas. She also visited her brother, Joel Ridgell, and his family of Cumby, Texas. Elsie's son. Tommy Elmore. spent the weekend with her.

We extend our sympathy to the loved ones of Mack Andrews. He died Saturday night. Graveside services were Tuesday morning in Liberty Cemetery.

We were so sorry to hear about the death of Wanda Lucas Long. She died last Wednesday in Louisiana. Wanda grew up in our community and has a step-sister, Beth Anderson, and step-brother, Charlie Lawrence, and several cousins living here. Beth and Charlie attended the funeral services.
