Rowe, Harper Plan May 30th Wedding In Gurdon ChurchPublished Wednesday, May 13, 1998 in the Gurdon TimesMrs. Sammy Benson of Plain Dealing, La., and Sydney Wiley of Douglasville, Texas, and Hal and Shari Harper of Gurdon are proud to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their children, Lisa Rowe and Brandon Harper. Lisa is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Buck DeMoss of Planing Dealing, and the late Jess Wiley and Kate Wiley of Douglasville. Brandon is the grandson of Elton 'Bud' and Frances McClure of Gurdon and Sarah Hamilton of Okolona and the late Adrian Harper of Gurdon. The wedding will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at the First Assembly of God Church in Gurdon. All friends and relatives are invited to attend the wedding and to the reception, which will follow in the church fellowship hall. No invitations will be sent locally.
