Political Rally Is ThursdayBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, May 13, 1998 in the Gurdon Times A political rally will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at the Gurdon Middle School auditorium. The rally is being sponsored by the South Clark County Jaycees. Jaycee President Kenneth Harper said all candidates, city and county, have been invited to attend the rally. A panel will ask the candidates questions, while the audience will be allowed to sent queries to the panel. Audience members will not be allowed to shout questions for the candidates. "This election is too important," Harper said. "For an off year election, it's very important." KIX radio is expected to be on hand to broadcast the rally.
