Willie Sullivan CoxPublished Wednesday, May 20, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneWillie Sullivan Cox, 80, of Bismarck died Tuesday, May 12, 1998, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. Mrs. Cox was born July 25, 1917, in Bismarck, the daughter of the late Sid and Lenora Caver Sullivan. She was a retired employee of Levi Strauss, a member of Third Street Baptist Church and the widow of John Calvin Cox. Survivors include one son, John Cox of Curtis; two daughters, Oma Lee Bray of Bismarck and Pearl Taylor of Prescott; one sister, Maudie Cook of Glenwood; six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services were Friday, May 15, in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Turner officiating. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery near Amity. Pallbearers were Gordon Cox, James Allen Cox, Gerald Wayne Taylor, Jerry Wilkerson, Jason Wilkerson, Jeremy Taylor, Grey Bray and Gerald Wayne Taylor Jr. Search | Nevada County Picayune by date | Gurdon Times by date |
