Almand, Langston Set June 6 WeddingPublished Wednesday, May 20, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. and Mrs. Bill Almand of Laneburg are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Melissa Ann, to Billy Criss Langston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Joe Langston of Emmet. Miss Almand is the grand-daughter of the late John and Bernice Pipkin of Willisville and the late Williams and Lily Almand of Laneburg. Mr. Langston is the grandson of Geneva Barham and the late Bro. M.C. Barham of Prescott and Bro. Milton and Dorothy Langston of Emmet. The bride-elect is a 1997 grad-uate of Nevada High School and is a student at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope. The prospective groom is a 1995 graduate of Nevada High School and is currently employed by the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department in Hope. The wedding will take place Saturday, June 6, at 2:00 in the afternoon at Laneburg Baptist Church.
