City Police Nab SuspectBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, October 20, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune A traffic violation resulted in the arrest on drug charges. Leeotis Sims, 24, was recently stopped by Prescott Police officers Ann Jordan and Morris Irving on a traffic violation. However, Sims ran from the officers, who pursued him through Prescott at high speeds. Sims was caught near the Clark County line on Highway 67. Officers saw him trying to get rid of something, which appeared to be an off-white rock-like substance. Sims was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, namely crack cocaine, with intent to deliver. He was also found with a large amount of cash on his person.
