Harvey and Ruth Barham and little grandson Chris from Dallas, Texas, are spending a few days here. Mickey and Alva Strother from Bismarck visited Leona and Jim Ballard last week. Willie and Julene Hulan attended the funeral for Pearl Taylor's mother in Arkadelphia on Thursday and on to Emerson for their nephew's graduation Thursday night. Those visiting Rickey and Nancy Burke on Mother's Day were Joe and Doris Burke, Steve, Genevieve, Derek, Lindsey and Daniel Burke from Blevins, Mike, Sissy, John Paul and Jason Burke from Wake Village, Texas, and Hershel and Ginger Clover from Hope. Cyndi and David Clark from DeQuincy, La., recently visited her parents, Kermit and Audrey Nix. For those of you interested in the Redland School reunion, you need to make your plans to attend June 13 and 14. A last reminder to visit with the Bidwells before they leave. Sunday, May 31, from 2 to 4 a reception will be held in the Liberty Church fellowship hall for Jack and Ruby Bidwell to show our love and appreciation for what they mean to the community. They will be moving soon to be near their children. Everyone is invited to attend. No gifts please.
