Closings Set For Holiday

In observance of Memorial Day, all city and county offices will be closed.

According to Nevada County Judge James Roy Brown, garbage pickup in the county will be delayed by one day.

In the city, no trash will be picked up Monday, but the trucks will run their normal routes beginning Tuesday. Monday's pickup will be done on Wednesday, May 27.

The city and county offices will open for business at their normal times Tuesday, May 26.
