Award winners at Nevada were Michael Brown, Zack Cross, Samantha Cearley, Nicky Barham, Nicky Jordan, Coy Tucker, Russell Smith, Jackie Smith, Danny Ray Scisco, Ray Martin, Brittney Robbins, Veronica Robbins and Mandy Angel. From Prescott school special awards went to Tim McCullough who was given the Edward Spencer award and Stacy and Tessa Webb. Our community commends these students and others who were deserving and received awards. And we have some bad news Sue Baker is still in the hospital in El Dorado. A.C. Hicks is in the hospital in Hope. Travis Cearley went back into the hospital for surgery on his leg that he broke last week. He is home now and just hopping along okay. Bro. Doyle Glass will hold a one week revival at New Hope Baptist Church beginning June 1. Services each evening start at 7:00. Bob and Wanda Lunsford visited Travis and Lifton Cearley Sunday evening after church. Russell Smith is going back this week to see his doctor in Little Rock. Students who have gone to school at Cale are having a homecoming reunion at Cale community center-City Hall, Saturday, May 30. Anyone who has ever gone to school at Cale and friends are invited to come. Don't forget the fourth Thursday evening singing at Morris Baptist Church beginning at 7:00. Ya'll come.
