Godwin Accepted Into AEGISPublished Wednesday, May 27, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneTrina Goodwin, daughter of Allen and Michelle Goodwin, has been accepted to 'Arts Encounter' which is a residential AEGIS program. This program is directed by Dr. Ardith Morris of Arkansas Tech University in Russellville. Activities are designed to foster creating arts, knowledge about acquaintance with major master-pieces and appreciation for and sensitivity to the integrated arts, and demonstrate the impact of the arts in society. Students will create/compose art, drama, music or dance. Activities include field trips to galleries, theater productions, music and dance performances and opportunities to meet with professionals, art managers, patrons and connoisseurs. Articles dated December 1981 through May 2001 were contributed by Ragsdale Printing Company, Inc. Articles June 2001 to ? were contributed by Better Built Group, Inc. Articles ? to October 2008 were contributed by GateHouse Media. Ownership of all Nevada County Picayune content from the beginning of the newspaper, including predecessors, until May 2001 was contributed by the John and Betty Ragsdale family to the Prescott Community Freenet Association.
