Musical Program Planned

Clifton Coleman, director of Housing Uniting Good Friends (HUGS) will be featured in a special musical program this Sunday, June 7, at 6:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church.

HUGS is the organization within the United Methodist Little Rock Conference that recently obtained Pineview Nursing Home. Pineview will be a placement center for people with special needs.

Coleman, a keyboardist, will be joined in this mini concert by alto saxophonist Merlon Devine and bass guitarist David Higginbotham. Saxophonist Al Wimberly will also take part in the 'jam' session.

Coleman and his group take traditional gospel music and put it in an interesting and enjoyable contemporary setting.

The public is invited.
