Graham HonoredPublished Wednesday, June 3, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneMona Graham, the daughter of Billy and Donna Graham of Webb City, Mo., has earned the Missouri College Preparatory Studies certifi-cate for high academic achievement. She is the granddaughter of Bobby and Hazel Graham of Prescott and Mr. and Mrs Dean Fletcher of Camden. Graham is the great grand-daughter of Flossi Childers of Prescott and Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Powell of Camden. The certificate is awarded by the Missouri State Board of Education of high academic achievement. The receiver must have com-pleted a specified core curriculum of English/language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and attained at least a 3.0 grade point average in those subjects. In addition, Graham met the requirement of scoring 21 or higher on the ACT. She is a member of the band and received State Band Honors for four years. Graham was a member of Science Club and Spanish Club. She plans to attend Southeast Missouri State and major in geo science. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Graham and grandson Nathan Cornish attended the graduation ceremony on Monday night, May ? They visited the Grahams in Webb City also.
