Andy Almand Earns HSU Scholarship

The office of University Relations/Admissions of Henderson State University has announce that Andy Almand has been awarded the Presidential Academic Scholarship for 1998- 99.

Almand is a 1998 highest honor graduate of Prescott High School. He is the son of Dale and Donita Almand of Prescott.

The scholarship is equivalent to in-state registration fees (tuition) plus housing for up to four years, which equals approximately $14,160.

Almand has also been accepted into the Honors College at Henderson State. He will received a stipend of $125 a semester for participating in the Honors College.

He also received a scholarship of $450 per semester for participating in the band program.
