Jamie Mae Hendrix

Jamie Mae Hendrix, 83, of Pine Bluff, formerly of Waldo, died Monday, May 25, 1998, at Pine Bluff Convalescent Center.

Mrs. Hendrix was born September 5, 1914, in Prescott to Henry Thurston and Dovie Wingfield Stuart. She was a seamstress for Shanhouse.

Survivors include one son, Glen Hendrix of Springlake; five grandchildren, Paul Fox of Pace, Fla., Tony Fox of Pine Bluff, Roland Fox of Jefferson, Charles Hendrix of Tulsa, Okla., and Mark Hendrix of Pine Bluff; five great grandchildren; three sisters, Dessie Andrews of Delight, Ruby Fontaine of Prescott and Marie Ridgell of Little Rock; and one brother, Henry Stuart of Prescott.

Funeral services were Wednesday, May 27, 1998, at First Baptist Church of Waldo with Rev. Daniel Williams officiating. Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home of Magnolia.
