Jo Ann TreasPublished Wednesday, June 3, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneJo Ann Treas, 62, of Prescott died Wednesday, May 27, 1998, at St. Michael Healthcare Center in Texarkana, Texas. Mrs. Treas was born November 3, 1935, in Pike County to Elmer and Stella Watt Jones Avery. She was a homemaker, retired secretary and general manager of Ozan Lumber Company (also Hayes Brothers Forestry Company) and retired from Hillcrest Care Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Prescott. She was preceded in death by one brother, Dale Avery, and one sister, Mary Lew Avery. Survivors include her husband, Hilton W. 'Dickie' Treas of Prescott; two daughters, Billie Carol Jones Haynie of Prescott and Shawntell Susann Treas Pokorny of Little Rock; two brothers, Harold Avery of Fort Smith and Glenn Avery of Prescott; and three grandchildren, Matthew Haynie, Laken Haynie and Jordan Haynie all of Prescott. Funeral services were Friday, May 29, at Missionary Grove Baptist Church at Nubbin Hill with Rev. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial was in Missionary Grove Cemetery.
