In the spirit of Christian joy together with their parents, Stacy Burchette and Marcus Bell invite you to share in the joy of their marriage on Saturday, June 6, at 6:00 in the evening at Washington Temple in Hope. Marcus Bell is the son of Merline Bazzelle. He has started preaching. He is a very good boy.

Vacation Bible school was held at Oak Grove Baptist Church last week Monday through Saturday. They had a real good attendance. Lots of children.

Don't forget the run-off election Tuesday, June 9. Let's cast our vote for the man of our choice.

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Toney stopped by to check on George. They always check on him.

His cousin, Girtie Blake, is still on the sick list, as is his sister, Corine Morgan. Let's pray for them.

Alvin Tidwell and wife are making the Jenkins place look good. They are putting up a new fence. I am glad they bought the place.

Mrs. Vera Purifoy is still in Hope. She will be up and going again. Her pastor visited her last week. Some of his other members also.
