Bill StigaulldePublished Wednesday, June 10, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneBill Stigaullde, 59, of Hope died Tuesday, June 2, 1998, at his home. Mr. Stigaullde was born October 16, 1938, in Maude, Texas, to Earl and Louise Ritchie Stigaullde. He was an owner/operator of a trucking business. He served Hope Police Department nine and one-half years; served under Don Worthey in the Hempstead County Sheriff's Department for eight years; was Chief of Police in East Camden; DeWitt Police Department for five years; and Gurdon Police Department. He was a Baptist and retired from the army and navy. Survivors include his wife, Betty L. Dickerson Bennett Stigaullde of Hope; three sons, Donnie Stigaullde of Redwater, Texas, Danny Stigaullde of Prescott and Jim Lyons of Atoka, Okla., one daughter Debbie Stigaullde Harris of Prescott; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were Thursday, June 4, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jackie Wood officiating.
