BoughtonMrs. Willie HooksPublished Wednesday, June 10, 1998 in the Nevada County Picayune I think everyone has enjoyed the nice cool weather we have had and the nice rain, too. Theo and Cherrie Flaherty and Harper Ursery visited Katie Pittman and Sue Austin, Elsie Elmore and Willie and me last Monday. Harper is a cousin of us Ridgell girls and is 91 years old. Pat and Drew Loe visited their Aunt Chloe Orren one day last week. Our son Willie Hugh spent Tuesday night with us last week. The men squirrel hunted some, but didn't find many squirrels. Annie Mae Hooks visited Mary Ann and J.D. Lucas Sunday afternoon. The annual first Sunday in June went well at Boughton Church Sunday. I have heard some say they really enjoyed it. A thought: Don't say things. What you are stands over you all the while, and thunders so that I cannot hear what you say to the contrary.
