No One Above Law

With crime on the rise which is way past the unemployment rate: Is this statement just a saying or is its merits worthy of the paper that it is written on? With each day we read about a crime sting operation where some ring of criminal activities has been broken. And it is always confusing as to who's actually involved. Sometimes these perpetrators are supposedly the good guys with no heading or ending to the story.

The ones that go out and steal a 4-wheeler or boat that is chained down in a neighbor's back yard are all considered to be a serious offense and even the ones that remove concealed evidence from the lab is considered to be a more serious felon. Moving up or down on the scale of who is above the law or can be persecuted is everybody's lay; we should feel equally involved and just as concerned toward bringing justice to the act.

Ignorance is bliss syndrome is another excuse for getting by. If this holds any accountable for those that break the law then how did crime advance so fast so far? We shouldn't let crime be immune to justice or the perpetrators exempt from justice. Now this is the way our system is and in its observance many of our local businesses are no longer in operational stratus simply because they lost they lost the desire to be involved with local merchants and or a servant to the public.

We don't like to think of a business closing due to dishonesty or because it was a rip off to its people, because many of us have watched a many of doors close and the sign that was placed on the door didn't read Out To Lunch,' or Closed For The Weekend,' but, Out Of Business.'
