Harrell F. HinesPublished Wednesday, October 6, 1999 in the Nevada County PicayuneHarrell F. Hines, 85, of Prescott died Sunday, October 3, 1999, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Mr. Hines was retired from the trucking industry. He was a member of First Baptist Church for 53 years. He was ordained as a deacon in 1959 and taught the older youth Sunday school class for 25 years. Mr. Hines was born February 20, 1914, in Nevada County to Frank and Tommy Hines. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Merle Hines of Prescott; one son and daughter-in-law, Johnny F. and Brenda Hines of Camarillo, Calif.; two grandchildren, Allen Hines of Sacramento, Calif., and Dr. Russell Hines of Moorepark, Calif.; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be today, Wednesday, October 6, at First Baptist Church with burial to follow in the DeAnn Cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home of Prescott.
