Harrison Joins Elk Horn

David Harrison has been named senior vice president of administration for Elk Horn Bank and Trust of Arkadelphia. The announcement came from Joe Miles, president and chief executive officer.

Harrison will have administrative and supervisory responsibilities over problem credits and bankruptcies trust functions, deposit operations, the branch network and other special projects.

He was previously employed by Horizon Bancorp, Inc., where he served as senior vice president of human resources. Prior to joining Horizon, he was an attorney with Alltel Corporation in Little Rock.

A native of Fayetteville, Harrison received his bachelor of science and juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

At UA he was active in Arkansas Student Government, was elected to Omicron Delta Kappa and he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity.

Harrison currently served as president of the Clark County United Way. He is a member of the board of directors of the Clark County American Cancer Society and Clark County Human Resources Council.

He is a member of the Arkansas Bankers Association Human Resources Committee, the Arkansas and the American Bar Associations and First United Methodist Church.
