All Stars Named; Tournament Set To Be In Warren

It's tournament time for players in the Gurdon Baseball Association, as the All-Star team has been announced.

The regular season ended with First State Bank, coached by Dennis Frisby, taking the title, followed by the Anthony Timberlands team, coached by Gary Deaton.

This year's tourney will be held July 11, at Warren, with Frisby leading the crew.

The team will be made up with the following players: Hunter Johnson, Josh Frisby, Brandon Bradshaw, Jesse Brown, Jonathan Gonzales, Derrick Puckett, Jeffrey Gibson, Tyler Childres, Blake Deaton, Eric McQuistion, T.J. Morgan, C.J. Stroder, Kyle Berline and Ben Gooding.

Alternates on the team are Caleb Deaton and Trey Rainey. Mikey Benson was honorable mention for the All-Stars.
