BoughtonMrs. Willie HooksPublished Wednesday, June 17, 1998 in the Nevada County Picayune We are having summer time weather with a breeze that doesn't cool much. Huey and Freddie Garner and daughter Ginnie spent a few days in Chicago visiting their grandsons. Mary Perkins, Gail Cook and Evan of Pasadena, Texas spent Friday night with Doris Ridgell and Saturday night with Wanda and Vernon Steven. They attended the McKinnon family reunion Sunday. Cathrine Hooks spent the weekend in Columbia Medical Park Hospital. Tommy, Doyle, Everett, Hershel and Kathline Hooks spent the weekend here in Prescott to be with their mother, do a little fishing and just be together. Paul Ridgell returned home Saturday with his boys, Ben and Michael of California. Paul and his boys did some sight seeing in route home visiting the Grand Canyon and the Petrified forest and other points of interest. Kay Wren and Joy Shaver spent last week with Delores and T.D. Thomas of New Braunfels, Texas. Roy and Syble Brown and grandson Adam and Maudina White visited Mary Ann and J.D. Lucas Saturday. Ben and Michael Ridgell visited their great Aunt Katie Pittman and Sue Austin Sunday afternoon. We have received word of the death of Sandra House, wife of our cousin Bobby House. The House family has lots of cousins around Prescott and are very dear to all of us. They certainly have our sympathy. Ideas are a lot like children, our own are wonderful.
