McRae Reunion July 2-5

The McRae School reunion will be July 2-5 here in Prescott. Plans are being finalized for activities, which will include a hospitality hour on Thursday, July 1, at 6 p.m. at the Upchurch Community Center.

The general opening session will be Friday, July 3, at 10 a.m. at Prescott Middle School. A picnic in McRae Park will follow at noon.

Friday night's activities will include a talent show, hour of power and a dance at the Prescott Middle School.

A parade through downtown Prescott will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 4. A banquet will be held that night at the middle school at 7:00.

The reunion will end on Sunday, July 5, with a city-wide morning worship service at 11 a.m. in the Prescott High School auditorium.

Thus far the committee has over 200 persons registered to attend the reunion. Today, June 17, is the final deadline for local citizens to get their registration fees and t-shirts orders in to Patricia Roberts. This is the final deadline for registering to attend these activities as the group must give the caterers a final count and the final order for t-shirts must be done.

Registration is $40 for adults and $20 for children ages 4-18.
