Chamber Plans Events For New BusinessesBY JOHN MILLERPublished Wednesday, June 17, 1998 in the Nevada County Picayune A reception will be held today from 3-4:30 p.m. to honor Jessie Ward and Misty Holly as they prepare for the state pageants. The reception will be held at the Prescott-Nevada County Chamber of Commerce, with light refreshments served to those coming to wish Ward and Holly well. Ward will be vying for the crown of Miss Arkansas in Hot Springs, while Holly is competing for the title of Miss Teen Arkansas. Ward is representing the area as Miss Nevada County, while Holly is Miss Teen Southwest Arkansas. A ribbon cutting and Chamber coffee will be held for Dalrymple Accounting Wednesday, June 17, from 9:30-11 a.m. at the new location next to the Farm Bureau on East Second Street South. And, the final event for the month sponsored by the Chamber will be the grand opening of Holly's Health Mart from 9:30-11 a.m. Friday, June 26, at the new location next to Fred's and Piggly Wiggly.
