Pageants Set For July 25Published Wednesday, June 24, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Miss Southwest Arkansas and Miss Teen Southwest Arkansas will be held July 25 at the Klipsch Auditorium in Hope. Girls ages 17-24, who are interested in entering the Miss Southwest Arkansas Pageant, should contact Terri Honeycutt by calling 870-777-4821. Girls ages 13-16, who are interested in entering the Miss Teen Southwest Arkansas Pageant, should contact Karen McLelland by calling 870-887-3104. Contestants will compete in private interview, swimsuit, talent and evening wear. The winners of each pageant will receive numerous prizes and the opportunity to represent Southwest Arkansas at the 1999 Miss Arkansas and Miss Teen Arkansas-America Pageants in June 1999.
