Pat and Julie Wilbanks of Little Rock spent Saturday with Dad and Mom, J.D. and Marie Allen.

Bobbie Carlton has just returned from St. Petersburg, Fla., from visiting his daughter, Laurlee Carlton, who is teaching marine biology. This is her second year there.

Herman and Wanda McKelvy of Bluff City and James and Norma McKelvy of Texarkana came for a visit on Saturday.

Howell and Louise Martin of Pleasant Plains attended a Martin family reunion in Hope this weekend and visited J.D. and Marie Allen.

A singing was well attended on Saturday night with Greg May group, the Third Generation and some from Morris, the Dorman Sisters, Russ and others.

Chris Kee from Magnolia was in church with us. He used to live here.

Marilyn Bridges, Sonja Butler and grandson Jon Michael Butler of Camden spent the day with Uncle and Aunt, J.D. and Marie Allen.

Phyllis Butler was home this weekend and the Butlers attended the second birthday party of McKenzie Walton. It was a great party.

Pat Wilbanks had to go to the hospital on Sunday. Hope she will be out soon.

There are several of our community on the sick list. Hope they will soon be well.

The squirrel season and bow and arrow hunting seasons are open. I heard of a little doe being killed. A young deer with his spots was in the road as I went into town.
