CaneyRuby WickerPublished Wednesday, June 24, 1998 in the Nevada County Picayune Cindy and Dust'n Lunsford of Sheridan visited her parents, Bob and Wanda Lunsford, Sunday. Janice Callicott and Phyllis Stewart visited Peggy Higginbotham Loe. Peggy had heart surgery earlier and is in therapy and doing well. Five young people were baptized at Morris Baptist Church Sunday morning. Two more young people joined Morris Baptist by letter. Bro. Tal Webb was on cloud nine. His daughter, Lacy, was among those baptized. Remember our fourth Thursday singing will be June 25 at 7:00. Some great singers are expected. Sunday will be our annual homecoming at Morris. You all come. Safrona Loe Stokes returned to her home at Mountain Home this week. She has been here three weeks visiting her parents and other relatives. Our prayers go with Coy Callicott this week. He will enter the hospital for surgery. Junior and Ann Loe visited their children, Don and Peggy Fain and Jane and Sam Bradshaw, in Camden. In the evening they met daughters, Safrona Stokes amd Milton and Ruth Stokes of Prescott, at the Rails in Waldo for supper, Safrona's treat. Don and Peggy also joined them. Junior and Ann Loe also visited Bro. J.C. and Betty Bryant of Chidester Friday. Dennis Hicks of Texas was a weekend guest of his parents, Bob and Carolyn. Amy and Emily Sweat of McCaskill brought pizza and we had pizza for supper at my house Friday evening.
