Perry H. Henley

Perry H. Henley, 77, of Hope died Sunday, June 21, 1998, at his home.

Mr. Henley was born April 27, 1921, in Reader to John Armstrong and Alva Guesner Henley. He was a retired owner/operator of the Western Auto Appliance Store in Hope for 40 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church of Hope and an 8th Air Force Veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret C. Schulte Henley of Hope; four sons and daughers- in-law, Paul Henley and Dolly of Old Washington, and John Henley and Sharon, Perry Henley Jr., and Jim Henley and Anna all of Hope; one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Susan and Ricky Smith of Hope; one brother, Edgar Henley of Laneburg; three sisters, Mildred Cornelius of Prescott, Willowdene McCrosky of Greenville, Texas, and Mary Joyce Lehman of Mountain Home; and six grandchildren, Russ Ritter, Brad Henley, Darren Henley, Mason Armstrong, Holly Lambert and Casey Lambert.

Funeral mass will be today, Wednesday, June 24, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church in Hope with Father David LeSieur, Father Scott Friend and Father John Kerr officiating. Burial will be in Turner Cemetery in Reader under the direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.

Rosary was Tuesday, June 23, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel.
