Delphia 'Dee' Langley

Delphia 'Dee' Langley, 82, of Malvern passed away Saturday, June 20, 1998, in the Hot Spring County Medical Center.

Mrs. Langley was born October 5, 1915, at Gurdon to the late Charles and Nettie Nelson Howell. She was a seamstress and a nursery operator. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Ever Ready Sunday School Class. She married Guy Deward Langley December 5, 1935. He preceded her in death April 3, 1986.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Sherry Langley of Malvern; two daughters and a son-in-law, Shirley Buck of Malvern and Katherine and Ray Thomason of Dickinson, Texas; one sister, Tannie Plyler of Gurdon; four grandchildren, Greg, Janet, Cheryl and Lucas; and two great grandchildren, Brooke and Patrick.

Funeral services were Monday, June 22, in the chapel of Atkinson Funeral Home in Malvern by Rev. Verne Wickliffe. Burial was in Shadowlane Cemetery under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Billy Gates, Larry Plyler, Gary Plyler, Jimmy Wright, Lloyd Shnaekal and Todd Gates.
