Rogers Church Is Setting For Wedding

Deanne Elaine Haynie and Jake Allen Brides, both of Rogers, were married at 3 p.m., June 6, 1998, at First Baptist Church in Rogers. The Rev. Ben J. Rowell officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Doug Haynie of Rogers, formerly of Hope and Prescott. The bride's grandmother is Mrs. Thurman Haynie of Prescott.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Bridges of Rogers.

The bride wore a candle light satin gown featuring cap sleeves of cut lace adorned with pearls. A square neckline and princess cut bodice were overlaid with lace and seed pearls. The A- line skirt cascaded into a semi-cathedral train. Her pearl-encrusted coronet headpiece held a double-tiered fingertip veil of illusion. She carried a bouquet of white roses, calla lilies, stephanotis and English ivy.

Maid of honor was Kinberlee Ewing of Rogers. Bridesmaids were Karyn Haynie Wilks, sister of the bride, and Kimbe Gibson, both of Rogers; Michelle McMurrey of Lowell; and Kenan Younger of Dallas, Texas.

The floor length princess styled dresses worn by the maids were fiesta coral with a squared neckline. They carried nose gays.

Jason Bridges of Rogers served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Cliff Keeling, Ricky Epting, Ryan Foster and Scott Bridges, all of Rogers. Junior groomsman was Kennon Haynie of Colt.

The groom and groomsmen were attired in black tuxedos.

Flower girl was Melanie Haynie of Colt, niece of the bride.

She wore a candlelight white tafta dress overlain with sheer organza. She wore a wrist bouquet of coral and white sweetheart roses. Her basket of coral rose petals was adorned with coral and white sweetheart roses and long streamed satin ribbons.

Nieces of the bride, Alyssa Haynie of Colt and Haleigh Smith of Rogers, wore knee length tafta dresses of candlelight white, princess styled. They also wore wrist corsages of white and coral sweetheart roses.

Daulton Terry of Rogers, cousin of the groom, and Jared Haynie of Colt, nephew of the bride, were ring bearers.

Bryon Haynie and Lisa Haynie of Colt, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, and Shannon Fox Hodgin, of Rogers, were soloists. Organist was Pat Lane and pianist was Ashley Lane, both of Rogers.

The guest book was attended by Vicki Anderson, of Fayetteville.

A pool side reception was held after the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents in Rogers.

After a wedding trip to Beaver Lake and Fairfield Bay the couple is at home in Rogers.
