Edith Mathis DillardPublished Wednesday, July 1, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneEdith Mathis Dillard, 80, of Rosston died Monday, June 22, 1998, in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Dillard was born September 16, 1918, in Cale to James and Lula Mitchell Mathis. She was a homemaker, was a charter member of Rosston Baptist Church and was currently a member of Second Baptist Church in Houston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis A. Dillard. Survivors include two sons and, daughters-in-law, Charlie and Linda Dillard and Wallace and Marie Dillard of Houston; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nadine and Hershell Wortman of Houston and Edna and O.J. Hurley of Cleburne, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services were Friday, June 26, at Rosston Baptist Church.
