Johnie Junior RutherfordPublished Wednesday, July 8, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneJohnie Junior Rutherford, 50, of Gurdon died Sunday, June 28, 1998. Mr. Rutherford was a member of Center Grove Methodist Church. He was a Vietnam veteran and a construction worker. Survivors include two sons, John Rutherford of Arkadelphia and Abraham Rutherford of Gurdon; one daughter, Betsey Rutherford of Gurdon; four sisters, Leida Loe, Linda Duckett and Sara Taylor all of Prescott and Mary Manzella of Ashdown; his parents, Johnie and Anna Rutherford of Okolona; his grandmother, Mrs. A.V. Houston of Okolona; and four grandchildren, Naulaunie, Michael, Tamara and Alexis. Services were Wednesday, July 1, in Center Grove Methodist Church with interment in Center Ridge Cemetery by Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
