Leonard A. GoodwinPublished Wednesday, July 8, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneLeonard A. Goodwin, 86, of Willisville died Thursday morning, July 2, 1998, at the Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Magnolia. Mr. Goodwin was born May 24, 1912, in Nevada County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Otwell Goodwin, and by a son, William Harrold Goodwin. He was a member of Whites Chapel Baptist Church. He is survived by two sons, Leonard Vaughn Goodwin and Jimmy Joe Goodwin, both of Willisville; one daughter: Paula Hatfield of Willisville; two brothers, Garland Goodwin and Aubrey Goodwin, both of Willisville; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Funeral services were Friday, July 3, at Whites Chapel Baptist Church at Bodcaw with Bro. Wayne Langston and Bro. Jerry Evans officiating.
