Golden OldiesDoris VancePublished Wednesday, July 15, 1998 in the Gurdon Times Bingo was played at the Gurdon Senior Adult Center Monday, July 5. Tuesday, July 6, Donna Smith and Cindy Rhodes entertained us with beautiful songs. The Kitchen Band is in the process of starting again. The seniors are practicing each Wednesday and hope to improve their performance. Thursday, July 9, the senior adults played a ring toss game to the music and Cindy Rhodes gave them the nutrition report on Friday. Blood pressure checks were held Tuesday, July 14. Many more activities are planned for the rest of the month. Our prayers are with those who have been ill and those who have lost loved ones. The center has had visitors dropping in each day. The quilting ladies have about finished the quilt. We would love to invite those 60 and over to stop by. We are sure that you will find something that you will enjoy.
