Ira Lee HurstPublished Wednesday, July 22, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneIra Lee Hurst, 68, of Shreveport, La., formerly of Laneburg, died Thursday, July 16, 1998, in Shreveport. Mr. Hurst was born December 8, 1929, in Laneburg. He was a member of Northwood Baptist Church, a retired machinist and a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, June Hurst; one son, Richard Hurst; two daughters and one son-in- law, Patti Rhea and Milton Hartley and Shirley Gaye Lawrence of Shreveport; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Inez and Bob Russell and Flora Loe and Nellie Jewel Edwards of Prescott; seven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 18, at Rose Neath Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clifton Rankin officiating. Burial was in Forest Park Cemetery.
