Dale JonesPublished Wednesday, July 22, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneDale Jones, 63, of Emmet died Friday, July 17, 1998, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Mr. Jones was born February 9, 1935, in El Dorado to Shelby L. and Ruth Cox Jones. He was in electrical maintenance at Lone Star Steel, in quality control lab at Texas Instruments, a lab technician at American Oil and a teacher in Emmet Public School. He was a member of Emmet United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Shelby L. Jones. Survivors include his mother, Ruth C. Jones of Emmet; two sisters, Suzanne Davidson and June Osborn both of Emmet; and several nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services were Tuesday, July 21, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope with Rev. J.R. Callicott officiating.
