Seminar Set For Opening BusinessPublished Wednesday, October 6, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesThe Hope Chamber of Commerce, University of Arkansas Community College at Hope, and Henderson State University Small Business Development Center (a partnership program with the U.S. Small Business Association and University of Arkansas at Little Rock) will be presenting a seminar Starting Your Own Main Street Business." The seminar will be held tonight, Wednesday, October 6, from 6:00 to 9:00 at the University of Arkansas Community College at Hope. The seminar leader will be Jeff Doose, Assistant Professor and Entrepreneur from Henderson State University School of Business. Downtown revitalization is one of the keys to local economic development. Learn how to scan the environment for valuable, feasible downtown business. Learn which resources are available to you to provide the sustained competitive advantage that will ensure success for your business. The registration fee will be $15. Optional continuing education credit through the Henderson State University Continuing Education Office costs $5 more.
