Now is the time, kids! Vacation Bible school is Saturday, July 25. We hope you'll come. Great things are planned. Class teachers and helpers are in place for all ages. There will be craft classes and music classes. Bobby Lunsford is grilling hotdogs and hamburgers. Ladies are bringing snacks and refreshments. You'll be busy, but not bored. Hopefully we'll offer Christian love that may affect the rest of your life. Everyone come Saturday at 8 a.m.

The following week, beginning on Monday evening, July 27, at 7:00 our revival begins. It will end Friday, July 31. Bro. Bob Goodnight from Pineville, La., will be the speaker. We're looking forward to that week.

Also we have begun a prayer group. We meet each Sunday morning before regular church time. We invite anyone who has a prayer on his heart or request prayers, regardless of where you go to church or if you go to church, to join us.

There are several people in our community and surrounding community who need our prayers. Bro. Tal's daughter, Tessa, is having surgery on her leg this week. Ken Karmel is having surgery. Roscoe Williams is having surgery this week.

Bonnie Barham was home for a day or so. She returned to Dallas area Sunday, where she had a doctor's appointment Monday.

Russell Smith is back home after surgery on his leg. His grandmother, Helen May, reports he is doing well. Helen will go back to Little Rock July 30 for her test results.

J.W. and Maxine Glass made the big trip last week. They and Maxine's brother, Freddie Walker, and his wife drove to Colorado Springs and the Denver area, touring many interesting places.

Roger and Carol Glass attended his high school class reunion in Magnolia Saturday. Josh and Jacob spent the day with grandparents, Jake and Helen Glass.

My children, Janice Callicott, Phyllis Stewart, Amy Sweat and her children, Chris and Denise, Kyla and Emily and I went to Arcadia, La., for the Bonnie and Clyde Trade Days Saturday.
