Emmet Schools Schedule Open House August 13Published Wednesday, July 22, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneThe Emmet Public Schools will have an open house for all students (K-12) on Thursday, August 13, at 7 p.m. in the Ross Gymnasium. The Emmet elementary students and parents will meet with their assigned teachers for an orientation. High school students and parents will meet with their home room teachers and received their schedules at this time. All students and parents are encouraged to be present. The 1998-99 school year for Emmet School students will begin on Wednesday, August 19, at 8:00 a.m. School will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m. the first week and at 3:00 p.m. thereafter. Buses will run regular routes. Breakfast and lunch will be served and the after-school daycare will be provided beginning on the first day of school. Students who were not enrolled in the Emmet Public Schools at the end of the 1997-98 school year and kindergarten students, who have not previously registered, should do so as soon as possible at the school office between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. If you have any questions concerning Emmet School, call the school office at 887-2319.
