Vows Were Exchanged October 25, In TexasPublished Wednesday, July 22, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneJennifer Dawn Kucera and Michael Ernest Baralt of Atlanta, Ga., was united in marriage October 25, 1997, in St. Mark's Catholic Church in Plano, Texas, by Rev. John G. Stack. The bride is the daughter of William and Linda Kucera of Plano. She is the granddaughter of the late Tillman and Cleo Avery McBrayer off Prescott. Other relatives in the area include Elvin 'Pete' Avery and Buelah Ross Mathis, all of Prescott and Esther Stuart Jordan of Hope. The groom is the son of Ernest and Mary Baralt of Clearwater, Fla. Officiating at the ceremony was Father John G. Stack of St. Mark's. There are moments when you wish you could stop time. Mike and Jennifer shared one of those. At the exact moment they were pronounced man and wife, the winding stem on a watch was pulled, stopping time. This was presented to Jennifer by Father Stack. It will be placed in a shadow box with other mementos to remind them of their special day. Maid of honor was Cheryl Kucera of Dallas, Texas, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nicole Coats of Ogden, Utah., Beth Cory, sister of groom, of Bradenton, Fla., Tricia Roberts, sister of groom, of Huntsville, Ala., Jennifer Shear of Hopkins, Minn., and Sandy Zelko of Houston, Texas. Best man was Bill Baralt, brother of the groom, of Dunedin, Fla. Groomsmen's were Don Awbrey of Atlanta,Dave Cebelo of Atlanta, Bruce Cory, brother- in-law of the groom, of Brandenton, Jack Roberts, brother-in-law of the groom, of Huntsville, Ala., and Tony Scalzi of Auburn, Ala. The bride graduated from Plano High School in 1989 and Texas A&M University in 1993. She is currently a sales representative at Electronic Precepts of Florida. The groom graduated from Clearwater Central Catholic High in 1988 and Auburn University in 1992. He is currently a loan originator at McCaughan Mortage. Music played at the wedding was Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, Canon in D, Bridal Chorus from Lorengrin, Ave Marie, Hail Mary Gentle Woman, Mendelssohn's Wedding March, and Trumpet Tune in D-Purcell. The organist was Ellen Hart. Pre-ceremony music was played by Plano Senior High string quartet. Soloist were Teresa Flanery, soprano, and Steven Nappo, violinist. Gift bearers were Ami Anderson of San Antonio, Texas, and Christine Kovach of Houston. A reception was held at Quarter J Ranch with dinner, dance and a band from Bryan, Texas.
