Asthma Walk Is Planned By Lung Association

Join Arkansas hitting the pavement in the American Lung Association's Asthma Walk. Help the 250,000 Arkansans struggling to breathe by raising money to support medical research, lung disease support groups and educational programs geared at preventing children from smoking and helping kids with asthma.

Walk, run, rollerblade, pull a wagon or push a stroller in this fun-filled family event being held in Texarkana on Saturday, September 26, at Texarkana College.

Registration begins a 9 a.m. and the walk starts at 10 a.m. Participate as an individual or put together teams of family members, co-workers and friends in this walk for healthy lungs.

Rest stops, lunch, entertainment and door prizes donated by local sponsors will be provided. Incentive prizes, special teams and top fundraiser prizes will also be awarded.

Step off against lung disease, walk in honor or memory of someone who suffers from lung disease by participating in the Asthma Walk.
