Veteran's CornerPublished Wednesday, July 22, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneCarroll Morehead Nevada County CVSO The law has been changed concerning widows who once received DIC (Dependency and Indemnity Compensation) and lost it due to a subsequent marriage. If the re-marriage has ended, the widow may apply for re-enstatement of DIC. Any veteran wishing to enroll in the VA Medical System may do so by filling out a form 10-10. I have those forms, and you can get one by coming to my office or calling me at 887-5776 between 8:30 and 12:30 Monday through Friday. I will be glad to mail you one. If you think you are eligible for VA benefits, see me. I have gotten hundreds of veterans and dependents monthly VA checks who had no idea they were eligible. There is no cost to you for this service. Also, if you have lost your DD214 (discharge) I can help you get one. I can file for any VA benefit you are eligible for.
