Miriam Louise EbyPublished Wednesday, October 6, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesMiriam Louise Eby, age 85 died Wednesday, September 22 at the Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation. She was born October 31, 1913 in Curtis. The daughter of the late Sidney and Callie Langley Thomas. She was a housewife and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Eby, Sr. and one daughter, Sherry Glass. Survivors include two sons, John Eby, Jr. and his wife Judy of Pittsburgh, Penna., and David Eby and his wife Judy of Ashland, Ky.; one daughter, Helen and her husband, Paul Ford of Southern Shores, N.C., one brother, Harry W. Thomas of Gurdon; eleven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25 at Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel with Rev. John Eby, Jr. officiating.
