Summer band program begins Monday, August 3, from 9:00 a.m. til 12:00 noon.

The second annual tent revival in Gurdon will be held August 2-8. Services will start at 7:00 nightly. Rev. Ronald Scott, pastor of Muldrew Chapel C.M.E. church, and Rev. Berrill Gile, minister of the Church on the Rock in Texarkana, are sponsoring the revival. Tuesday night, August 4,is ladies' night. Recording artist Sis. Margaret McGee of Fordyce's New Horizon Church will be the evangelist.

Southfork Baptist Church will be having its annual vacation Bible school Saturday, August 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The theme will be Hooked on Jesus. Lunch will be provided. For more information, call 353-2229.
