Registration Planned For ElementaryPublished Wednesday, July 29, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayunePrescott Elementary School reminds parents that if you have a child who will attend the school for the 1998-99 school year, you need to register your child as soon as possible. The following items will be required for registration: birth certificate, social security card and immunization record. Kindergarten students will also be required to have a physical before entering school. Physicals can be obtained at your family doctor's office or at the Nevada County Health Office. Beginning kindergarten students must be five years old on or before September 15. Prescott Elementary office hours are 8:00 to 12:00 noon and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Monday- Friday. Supply lists may also be picked up during office hours. "Prescott Elementary is committed to the goal of providing quality education for every child in our school," according to Howard Austin, principal, "and we are looking forward to the 1998-99 school year and your child being a part of our school system."
