Homecoming was Sunday at Bodcaw No. I. James Ross of Laurel, Miss., brought the message. He was a former pastor. We had a good turn out with lots of good eats. We had signing in the afternoon. Bobby Joe and Ann Wright of Texarkana and others were present.

Curtis and Mary Johnson of Prescott visited Deck and Earlene Butler Sunday afternoon.

Alvin and Peggy Butler visited Mrs. Nettie Bowman in St. Luke Hospital last Wednesday. The Bowmans were sure happy to see them.

Mr. and Mrs. Claude Fitzgerald of Hope visited Perna Mason Sunday afternoon.

Richard and Betty Harvin have his brother and sisters and their families from Michigan and North Carolina as guests.

Billy and Peggy Russell spent the weekend in Laurel, Miss., with Jonathan.

Jeff, Sandy, Matt and Kailin Russell went to north Arkansas for a few days.

Naomi Butler and Mary Jo Gregory visited Doris Shewbirt and Cleo Hamm in St. Michael last Thursday. Doris is not doing very well.

Happy to hear Rosco Williams is doing much better. He should get home this week.

The Bodcaw Baptist Church softball team played Grace Baptist Church Thursday night and lost. In the second game they played First Baptist and lost by only two runs, 13 to 11.

Don't forget Bodcaw II Baptist Church is having a one day Bible school Saturday, August 1, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for pre-school through sixth grade.

Nettie Ann Bowman is out of the hospital and is recuperating at home. Her doctor said he has only done a few fourth time bypasses and she was his success story. Many prayers have been offered in her behalf.

Fourteen from Bodcaw I Baptist went to youth encampment at Gary, Texas. There were three saved out of our group.

Bodcaw Baptist Church 2 had great services on Sunday and Sunday night. One addition was by letter and one for baptism. It was good to have pastor Bro. Bowman home and preaching after time away because of his wife's sickness.

Twenty-five campers from Bluff Springs and Bodcaw 2 attended South Arkansas Baptist Encampment at Gary, Texas, last week. Three were over 500 campers and 34 were saved. The evangelist was Bro. Sam Husser and music was directed by Mark Hall of Hope. They reported a good time. The Bodcaw boys were runners-up in the basketball competition.

Phyllis Butler of Little Rock was home over the weekend and attended homecoming.

The wedding of Tammy Fry and Shane Fuller was Saturday at 3 p.m. It was a pretty setting. We wish them much happiness.
