Applications Are Sought For Child Care, Financial AidPublished Wednesday, July 29, 1998 in the Nevada County PicayuneSouthwest Arkansas Development Council (SWADC) single parent/displaced homemakers program is presently taking applications for the fall semester for financial aid and child care assistance. Friday, August 7, will be the last day to apply. Applications may be filled out at the office located at 110 South Main in Hope between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. In order to qualify for assistance you must attend or have already attended a workshop and must also qualify financially. When filling out applications for assistance proof of registration and price of books for classes you are taking and proof of income is required. If applying for child care assistance you must notify SWADC of the licensed day care facility that you have chosen.
